On Sunday, October 12, we’ll take you to the southernmost 2000-meter peak in the Alpine arc, where you can admire the Ligurian Sea just 20 kilometers away. The magnificent natural features of this biodiversity hotspot and numerous historical landmarks will serve as a backdrop to the Dolomite-like panoramas of this unique area.

Meeting point: 8:30 AM at the lower parking lot of Taggia station (See map)
Hike starting point: Colle Melosa (Pigna IM)
Distance: 11 km – Elevation gain/loss: +/- 500 m – Duration: 5 hours – Difficulty: E
Maximum elevation: 2038m
Difficulty: E – the trail is suitable for anyone in normal physical condition with proper equipment. There is an initial climb with an elevation gain of over 100 meters per kilometer.
Registration: registration is required by 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025, and implies acceptance of the hiking regulations.
Maximum number of participants: 20 people
Participation fee: €15 per person (free for children under 10, €5 for ages 11-18)
The fee includes: accompaniment by an AIGAE-certified environmental hiking guide
Recommended equipment: hiking shoes or boots, technical layered moisture-wicking clothing, trekking poles, windbreaker, hat or bandana, good water supply (at least 1.5 liters). Packed lunch.
